Office poem #2

I gave you Poe and ravens, I gave you Grecian urns.
I sifted gold from putrid, infested silt.
You wrapped it all as your own, leveraging sparkling assets.
And now that you are free of insipid, quotidian hassle,
I am queen of an empty castle.

Office poem #1

O, foul insouciance!
O, untethered Gen-Y disrespect!
I harbor you, my former youth,
my brightly imagined future regrettably now undone.
I see your ten and raise you none.
